Schedule Options for ASPIRA Students
ASPIRA’s online programs strike a balance between live, instructor-led classes, on-campus classes, and self-paced experiential learning to provide flexibility and deliver desired learning outcomes. Each course meets once a week for 60 minutes in a classroom for a live instructor-led session and once a week for office hours. Live sessions are back-to-back with a 10-minute break in between. Typically, you take four courses per trimester, creating a four-hour block of virtual live instructor-led classes each week. The day and time of that block are constant throughout the program for easier student planning. There are morning or late afternoon blocks for your online live class schedule when you apply for admission. Besides the live online schedule block, instructors assign self-paced study activities to complete before the next live class session. On average, expect 1-2 hours of self-paced study per course each week.

FAST PATH Schedule
The Fast Path schedule is the shortest road to graduation and employment readiness. “Fast Path” doesn’t mean we cram in the coursework. It means we shorten your stay in school by eliminating time-consuming liberal arts requirements and further condense the timeline by offering applied general education courses. Fast Path is ideal for recent high school graduates, members of the military transitioning to civilian life, and adult students who are unemployed or seeking a new career path. Students following the Fast Path schedule attend classes year round (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall).
TRADITIONAL Class Schedule
With the Traditional class schedule, students have the whole summer trimester off. That difference makes the Traditional schedule perfect for students with summer travel plans or young children home for summer break. Summers off extend the time to graduation; nonetheless, the Traditional schedule provides an effective route to career readiness
EVENING Class Schedule
Want to start a career and a better life, but your day-to-day responsibilities make it seem impossible? We have a solution for you. To help make that new career a reality, we offer the Evening schedule. Our Evening option suits students who work or otherwise have a full plate during the day. To make attending evening classes manageable, our Evening students only attend four class sessions a week, leaving ample time for other essentials.
