HELP TO PAY YOUR WAY

At ASPIRA City College, we help you make investing in your future possible by keeping tuition in scale, and affordable. Our Financial Aid Specialists live and breathe counseling students on Student Aid, and what it takes to get through College.

As you steer a course to achieve your goals, our Financial Aid Specialists will help you make well-informed financial decisions. They will determine if you qualify for student aid, and if you do, they will verify the amount of aid for which you qualify, and help you understand your aid options. You can call or start a chat for answers to quick questions, and you can meet with our Financial Aid Specialists (virtually or on-campus) to plan the best way to pay for attending the College.

Student Aid comes from many sources – federal and state governments as well as private organizations. For qualified students, options may include Federal Work-Study, Federal Grants, Federal Direct Student Loans, State Grants, Private Education Loans, Private Scholarships, and college-based payment plans. Grants are the part of Financial Aid that students are not required to repay, and awards are based on the student’s financial need.

Additional education funding may be available to qualified students through the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), the PA Office of Workforce Innovation & Opportunity, and for veterans and military families through the GI Bill.® The GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA at the official U.S. government Web site is available at www.benefits.va.gov/gibill. As you can see, several possibilities are available to help pay your way forward confidently.

To be considered for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can to so at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa or right here on our APPLY NOW platform. The data from the FAFSA is used in a formula established by law to determine the student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and, ultimately, financial need. Based on EFC, ASPIRA City College creates a Financial Aid Offer to assist students in meeting the cost of their education.

You are welcome to connect with our Financial Aid Specialists by phone, email, online chat, video conference or to meet with them on campus. You can learn more about Student Aid by clicking on the links below.
